WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), Ranking Member of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), led a joint statement in response to the ultimatum that President Donald Trump and his Administration are forcing on Ukraine, noting that the President puts pressure only on Ukraine while giving “Putin exactly what he wants.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. —  Today, Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) and Chairman John Moolenaar (R-MI) of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party issued subpoenas to three Chinese state-owned telecommunications companies – China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom – after the companies failed to respond to a formal bipartisan congressional request for information sent on March 4.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Senate Special Committee on Aging convened a joint hearing entitled, “Financial Aggression: How the Chinese Communist Party Exploits American Retirees and Undermines National Security.” The hearing featured expert witness testimony on risks posed to seniors in the form of financial scams and other illicit activities based in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
