Washington, D.C. — Yesterday, Ranking Member Ro Khanna (D-CA), Chairman John Moolenaar (R-MI), and Rep. Jill N. Tokuda (D-HI) of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party introduced a bipartisan resolution reaffirming the longstanding U.S. policy towards Taiwan. Following a recent hearing, the measure underscores that Taiwan’s future must be determined solely by peaceful means. It further reiterates U.S. opposition to any use of force or coercion against Taiwan and its people.
