MEDIA ADVISORY: Select Committee to Hold Hearing on The Rise of CCP-linked Scam Networks Targeting Americans and Threatening U.S. Security

WASHINGTON – The House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party will hold a hearing titled Crime, Corruption, and Power: The Rise of CCP-linked Scam Networks Targeting Americans and Threatening U.S. Security. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 A.M. in Cannon House Office Building, Room 210. 

The following witnesses will provide testimony:

• Mr. Jacob Sims, Visiting Fellow, Asia Center at Harvard University
• Mr. Jason Tower, Senior Expert, Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime
• Ms. Erin West, Founder and President, Operation Shamrock

When: Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 A.M.
