Through its reckless use of its vessels to block, ram, and fire water cannons at Philippine vessels, the CCP shows a belligerent disregard for the territory of the Philippines, international law, and regional peace. The United States stands by the Philippines and will uphold our treaty commitments to our ally without hesitation.”
