WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), Ranking Member of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) issued the following statement regarding the inclusion of Autel on the Commerce Department’s Entity List.
“The CCP must end its dangerously escalatory aggression toward the Philippines, including endangering the lives of Philippine service members and disrupting the delivery of humanitarian supplies. Through its reckless use of its vessels to block, ram, and fire water cannons at Philippine vessels, the CCP shows a belligerent disregard for the territory of the Philippines, international law, and regional peace. The United States stands by the Philippines and will uphold our treaty commitments to our ally without hesitation.”
WASHINGTON DC — Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) and Chairman John Moolenaar (R-MI) of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party wrote to Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo requesting that the Department consider regulating Chinese drones operating in the United States that pose an espionage, data collection, and national security risk.
