Statement from Ranking Member Krishnamoorthi Celebrating the Lunar New Year

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) issued the following statement in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

“I want to wish everyone a happy Lunar New Year! As we gather with family and friends to ring in the Year of the Dragon, this time of year provides time not only for reflection and celebration, but also an opportunity to recommit ourselves to the work of building a brighter future for generations to come in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community across the world. The Year of the Dragon symbolizes honor, luck, and success, and my hope for you all is that the coming year brings each of these things in plentiful amounts."
