Krishnamoorthi Responds to Latest Reporting on a Potential TikTok Deal

WASHINGTON – Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08), Ranking Member of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, issued the following statement regarding the latest reports of a potential deal over TikTok’s U.S. operations:

“If a deal has been struck, the details need to be shared with Congress. President Trump will be judged based on the answer to one question: whether the deal complies with the law to keep TikTok available to U.S. users, but without CCP control. Under the TikTok Divestiture Law, the new American TikTok can have no operational relationship with ByteDance.”
